Delicca Powder Face Wash

Vini Cosmetics – a brand from India has introduced a face wash which is in powder form. As I researched about it I got to know that this product is already available back in India from some years now and I think has arrived in UAE recently. I received this product from my Glambox last month so it is my responsibility to share my reviews on it as I have personally used it as well. Delicca face wash washes impurities, dirt, lifts away dullness from skin, and leaves the skin fresh and soft.

I will start with it’s Packaging – It is nothing fancy about the packaging only difference is that this comes in a small bottle like packaging whereas most of the other face wash comes in tube like packaging. It is a 40 gram bottle so it is travel friendly. It is a yellow colored powder form face wash and I believe the yellow color is because of the turmeric they have used in it. I like turmeric because it suits my skin so I usually get attracted to products which has turmeric in it. Basically you just have to take some amount of powder in your palm mix it with some water and lather it on your face. Sometimes powder comes out as small combined balls so you really have to press and break it to get it in powder form again otherwise you will feel their roughness onto the skin.

Highlight of the product – It says it is Sulphate Free. What exactly is sulpahte then? Well Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS) is a common ingredient added to face wash to make it foam, not just face washes this is also added in other cosmetics and skin care products. SLS can be hard to delicate facial skin but a well formulated products that uses sulphate in combination  with milder surfactants or with conditioning agents that prevent the skin from becoming too stripped are perfectly fine for most people.

After my first use my skin felt very soft and clean but as I have a combination skin I noticed that on regular everyday use the area on my skin which is not oily becomes dry and sometimes flaky whereas the areas which are oily stays fine. So I would recommend those who have combination skin like me to use it twice or thrice a week only.
